Summer in the Heart of Winter: South Coast

If you are looking for a non-mainstream road trip destination on this chilly winter (yes I’m talking about snowy mountain), look no further, because these places have you covered. I had more hate than love relationship with snow, so I was ecstatic when we decided to go to the South Coast instead of the Snowy Mountain. I was especially excited to go to Hyams Beach which is famous for its white sand. In summary, our trip was all about the vast ocean, enormous rocks, bright blue sky, to beautiful sunset. It almost felt like summer if it wasn’t for the occasional chilly breeze.

I had the chance to see Whitehaven Beach last year and I am still dreaming about it. Hyams, although not as exclusive as Whitehaven, is equally beautiful! And the fact that I am only 3 hours drive away from it just makes me excited somehow!  So what are you waiting for? Pack an overnight bag and explore the South Coast now!
